Digger DogTM is Excited About
Calling 811. Are You?
Digger Dog
TM is ready to help you learn why calling 811 before you dig is a smart
thing to do. Digger Dog wants you to tell your teacher that all kinds of cool stuff are
available to help them explain safe, clean natural gas, as well as give you some great
tools you can use to help your parents and caregivers be safe when digging in the
yard for things like swing sets, mailboxes, and trees.
You'll learn why Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and other utilities (electric, water, etc.)
use some really cool color-coded flags and paints to show where underground
utility lines are buried. That way, you and your family will know exactly where they can
dig and where they can’t. It will be fun for you, for your teacher, and safe for your family.
